The ideal candidate will engage in safety management and case delivery, conducting hazard analysis and supporting teams in safety assessments. Applicants should have experience or knowledge in safety engineering practices. Formación

• Self-motivated with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in safety analysis techniques such as Fault/Event Tree Analysis or FMEA.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of an Integrated Development Team.
• Support Hazard Identification and Analysis studies.
• Assist with or generate safety reports.
• Liaise with Integrated Development Teams and the Whole Boat Safety Team.

Conocimientos

Understanding of 'Safety and Systems Engineering'

Agile working practices

Knowledge in ALARP, HAZID, or HAZOP

Overview

Safety Engineer

The role will provide the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of safety management and safety case delivery. This includes safety requirements capture and management, hazard identification and analysis.

All industries considered and have cross transferable into Defence: Aerospace, Automotive, R&D / Test, Oil & Gas, Rail, Maritime & Shipbuilding

What you’ll be doing

• Working as part of an Integrated Development Team, established to develop and deliver systems / capability
• Supporting Hazard Identification and Analysis studies
• Assisting with or generating safety reports
• Liaising with other Integrated Development Teams and the Whole Boat Safety Team

Skills and experiences

• An understanding of 'Safety and Systems Engineering'
• The ability to be agile in working practices and customer expectations
• Self-motivated, with good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge in ALARP, HAZID or HAZOP
• Knowledge of safety analysis techniques such as Fault / Event Tree Analysis or FMEA
