Job summary

LA International seeks a safety engineer with demonstrable experience in regulated environments. The role involves developing, maintaining and assuring safety cases and managing hazard logs, safety risks, and mitigations across acquisition and in-service phases.

You will provide clear, authoritative safety advice to senior technical and programme stakeholders and communicate effectively for governance forums.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in safety engineering within a regulated environment.
• Proven experience developing, maintaining and assuring safety cases.
• Experience managing hazard logs, safety risks and mitigations across acquisition and/or in-service phases.
• Ability to provide clear, authoritative safety advice to senior technical and programme stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for formal assurance and governance forums.

Generally these are long term contract roles and require experience of safety management and delivering safety case reports and hazard logs.
