Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Software Engineer with commercial ADA and SPARK experience to join a team delivering high-integrity software. You will contribute across requirements, development, integration, verification and validation within safety-critical, highly regulated industries.

Ideally you have worked in defence, aerospace, transport, rail or automotive settings with traceability to recognised safety standards and able to gain BPSS clearance. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing software using Ada and SPARK.
• Strong understanding of the safety-critical software development lifecycle.
• Experience across requirements, development and/or test.
• Exposure to safety-critical or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of standards such as IEC 61508, EN 50128, ISO 26262, DEF STAN 00-55 or DO-178.

Responsibilities

• Involved throughout the software lifecycle, contributing to requirements, development, integration, verification and validation activities.
• Work with experienced software, systems and test engineers to deliver safe software solutions.
• Operate within defence, aerospace, transport, rail or automotive environments that follow recognised safety and engineering standards.
