Role Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years working in UK defence surface ships (consultancy or Armed Forces background considered)
  • In-depth knowledge of DSA02-DMR and Def Stan 00-056 safety standards
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering technical safety projects (single or multiple)
  • Experience supporting bids and business development activity
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised, capable of working independently (including remotely)
  • Must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance
Highly Desirable Skills
  • Experience using safety and risk analysis techniques such as SWIFT, HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, LOPA
  • Background in autonomous platforms and naval technology
  • Client relationship management & securing enduring contracts
  • Experience leading or managing small teams
