Job summary

This hybrid role involves representing DIO at design reviews and managing documentation for compliance. The ideal candidate will have a STEM degree, SC clearance (or ability to obtain), and experience in nuclear environments. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the safety case process for the Shoreside Support Infrastructure.

  • Review safety case documentation for compliance with HMNB Clyde requirements.
  • Lead a small team and produce safety management documentation.

Job Title: Safety Case Manager
Location: Glasgow – Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Engagement: Inside IR35 | Up to 40 hours/week | Up to 2 years
Security: Sole British National. SC clearance required or willing to obtain prior to starting

We are seeking an experienced Safety Case Manager to join the team supporting Programme Euston at HMNB Clyde, delivering future submarine docking capability. The Safety Case Manager will lead the safety case process for the Shoreside Support Infrastructure and contribute to the overall Euston Safety and Environmental Case.

The Safety Case Manager will represent DIO at design reviews, project meetings, and safety workshops, providing expert guidance. As a Safety Case Manager, you will review safety case documentation against HMNB Clyde requirements and best practices, ensuring compliance and quality.

This Safety Case Manager role also involves leading a small team, coordinating safety assurance activities, and producing safety management documentation as required. The ideal candidate has experience as a Safety Case Manager in complex or nuclear projects and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Essential Experience & Qualifications for a Safety Case Manager:
