One of the leading companies in the nuclear sector is looking to bring in a Safety Case Engineer to join the growing team working on vast projects in the nuclear space. This is one of the best and well-known projects and companies in the sector.

Role details:
  • Type: Permanent
  • Locations: Warrington, Bristol, Leicester, Glasgow, or Newbury
  • Salary: £48,000 to £62,000 depending on experience
  • Benefits: Excellent package, bonuses, and travel opportunities for 2nd site work

Our client is seeking several Senior Safety Case Engineers to join their nuclear projects. They offer flexible and remote working options, welcoming applicants from across the UK.

You will be responsible for ensuring that engineering works are safe and secure by creating specialist plans and reviews. Your role involves examining engineering activities and managing the safety aspects of these activities. As a senior technical team member, you will support managers with technical challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects, providing a varied work life.

Please note that the role requires Security Clearance. Candidates must be UK citizens with a British Passport.

Key responsibilities:
  • Produce and design technical and general safety reports
  • Create hazard management strategies

  • Participate in HAZID/HAZOP sessions
  • Manage work delivery in coordination with the supply chain
Experience and requirements:
  • Engineering degree (Chartered status desirable)
  • Experience working with multiple teams
  • EPC experience (desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
