Responsibilities

You will be responsible for logging and allocating taskings, keeping accurate records on our case management system and helping to manage inbox enquiries. You will support the team by carrying out background checks, preparing case notes and documents, and making sure information is recorded clearly and correctly.

The role also involves helping to coordinate Community Payback project submissions and providing administrative support for the Untidy Land Pilot. This includes updating records, completing checks, sharing information with partners and supporting the smooth progression of cases.

You will arrange meetings with internal teams and external partners, take minutes and ensure actions are recorded and followed up. You will also help produce letters, spreadsheets and reports that support day to day service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

This is a varied role that requires strong organisation skills, good attention to detail and confidence using IT systems. You will deal with enquiries in a professional and helpful way and ensure that data protection and confidentiality are always maintained. You may occasionally support community engagement events or Days of Visibility.

We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to manage several tasks at once. You should enjoy working with others, communicating clearly and supporting a busy frontline service that helps keep Merton safe and welcoming for everyone.
