Qualifications

• Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake complex person-centred safeguarding assessments.
• Ensure appropriate referrals are made in a timely manner.
• Provide professional leadership and expert advice to Trust staff.

Skills

Knowledge of Safeguarding/Child Protection legislation

Excellent awareness of local safeguarding agendas

High degree of analytical skill

Ability to carry out Mental Capacity Act assessments

Education

Registered 1st Level Nurse on the NMC register - Child
