St Brendan's Sixth Form College is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Manager (Operational Designated Safeguarding Lead) to lead safeguarding, child protection and student wellbeing services across the College. This pivotal role manages referrals, complex cases and multi-agency working, reporting to the Assistant Principal and College Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Substantial safeguarding and child protection experience.
• Knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education and related guidance.
• Experience leading teams and complex safeguarding cases.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day safeguarding and child protection provision.
• Manage referrals, risk assessments and multi-agency work.
• Provide expert guidance on safeguarding matters across the College.
• Lead Safeguarding Officers and Student Wellbeing colleagues.
• Act as operational lead for Prevent and Channel referrals.
• Deliver safeguarding training and policy development.
• Monitor safeguarding trends and maintain records.
• Support strategic safeguarding reporting and improvement.
