37.5 hours per week / 40 weeks per year (Term Time Only)

What we are looking for
  • Passion for youth development along with outstanding rapport‑building, motivation and communication abilities
  • Previous experience in coaching, counselling or mental health promotion with young people is essential
  • Ongoing dedication to professional development in the FE landscape wellbeing and online safety initiatives will be expected
Duties/responsibilities
  • Work closely with students on a 1‑1 coaching basis, you will take a holistic approach to wellbeing exploring stress management, healthy coping mechanisms, work‑life balance, goal‑setting and personal growth
  • You will also design and facilitate stimulating workshops and support groups focused on peer connections, self‑esteem, motivation and study skills.
  • You will equip students with tangible techniques to self‑manage anxiety, improve focus, boost happiness and fulfil their potential.
  • Where appropriate, you will make referrals to specialist counselling and social services to ensure at‑risk students get access to vital intervention and support.
