A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Adults Practitioner to support vulnerable patients and their families. This role involves providing expert advice on safeguarding practices, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering training to staff. We are currently recruiting to our Safeguarding Families team and are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative individual to join our dynamic and forward thinking team as Safeguarding Adults Practitioner.
The post holder will be a highly visible experienced practitioner, providing, with support from the Safeguarding Adults Lead, specialist knowledge and advice to all staff in the Trust and the community in all areas of Safeguarding Adults. With support from the Safeguarding Adults Lead you will provide the professional interface between hospital and community services with respect to the welfare of adults, providing a robust and safe communication system for the effective and timely flow of information between hospital and community health professionals and other agencies as appropriate.
The Safeguarding Adult Specialist Practitioner will work closely with the wider safeguarding and complex health teams to ensure a holistic approach to the care of the most vulnerable patients and their families in delivering safeguarding advice, support, training and supervision. The hospital provides an efficient and effective liaison and expert screening system and you will be sharing information to the appropriate community staff where there are specific health, social or safety concerns.
