Job summary

London South East Academies Trust is seeking a Safeguarding Administrator to support the safeguarding, attendance and welfare functions across Orpington and Bromley, two days per week.

You will provide high-quality administrative support, maintain confidential records, and work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and external agencies to keep pupils safe and engaged in school.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality administrative support to safeguarding, child protection, attendance, behaviour, welfare and pastoral functions.
• Work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Deputy DSLs, pastoral staff, external agencies, pupils and families to ensure safeguarding processes are implemented effectively.
• Ensure records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
• Help pupils remain safe, engaged and successful in school.

About the role:

Safeguarding Administrator

Hours: 14.4 hours a week (2 days per week)

Salary: H13 on the LSEAT Harmonised Payscale

We are looking for an inspirational Administrator to work alongside the Safeguarding team across both sites , Orpington and Bromley for 2 days a week

As Safeguarding Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the school's safeguarding, child protection, attendance, behaviour, welfare, and pastoral functions. Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Deputy DSLs, pastoral staff, external agencies, pupils, and families, you will help ensure safeguarding processes are implemented effectively, records are maintained accurately and confidentially, and pupils receive the support needed to remain safe, engaged, and successful in school.
