A leading training provider is seeking a Safe and Sound Manager to oversee the safety and well-being of learners, acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead. This remote role combines leadership in safeguarding with health and safety responsibilities. Candidates must have professional safeguarding and health and safety qualifications, along with experience in education settings. The position promotes a culture of inclusion and safety, ensuring support for vulnerable learners and proactive risk management.

Location: Remote (with in-person meetings)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Safe and Sound brings together Health and Safety and includED (safeguarding, Prevent, Equality and e-safety) to ensure that colleagues, learners, and stakeholders are kept and empowered to be safe across all aspects of their journey with us.
Safe and Sound is supported across the business by our shared services Safe and Sound Team.
As a part of a shared services team the Safe and Sound Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, inclusion and protection of vulnerable learners and the health and safety of colleagues. This role combines Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) responsibilities with leadership in health and safety, promoting a culture of inclusion, safety, and proactive risk management.
The role holder will work collaboratively with all departments across the operating businesses to embed safe and inclusive practices across all aspects of the organisation that ensure the availability and provision of safe spaces for learners and colleagues.
