Job description
Role Overview

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced SACT nurse practitioners to develop skills in assessing patients’ fitness for SACT. We are looking for a committed professional to join our SACT nurse‑led service team and contribute to the delivery of safe, compassionate, highest‑quality care to patients on treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise within Cancer / Chemotherapy / SACT Nursing.
  • Contribute to continually improving the patient experience by looking after a non‑complex patient on SACT.
  • Work under the supervision of clinical practitioners, providing nursing assessments, care, and interventions to facilitate high‑quality, individualised care to patients.
  • Contribute to developing an equitable, standardised, high‑quality Chemotherapy / SACT service.
  • Provide specialist Cancer / Chemotherapy / SACT advice both within and outside.
  • Contribute to education programmes relating to Chemotherapy / SACT Nursing within and outside of the Trust.
  • Work within the Chemotherapy Day Care Unit, inpatient and assessment units at Charing Cross Hospital.
