Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) invites applications for a role within the Macmillan Day Bed Unit at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. You will deliver high-quality, clinically effective patient care to patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) and those at various stages of their cancer journey, within a multidisciplinary team.

This permanent, full-time position offers development opportunities in oncology care, with a strong focus on maintaining documentation

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team within the Macmillan Day Bed Unit at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. As a valued member of the team, you will deliver high-quality, clinically effective patient care and work with patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) and those at various stages of their cancer journey. This role offers a varied caseload to help develop your skills, capabilities, and experience.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern

• Permanent, Full-time
• Shift Pattern - 0800-1800 & 1000-2000 Monday - Saturday
• Base location - Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre

Essential

• Experience working in an oncology healthcare setting.

Training/Development

• Opportunity to gain experience caring for patients undergoing cancer treatment and to further develop oncology-related knowledge and clinical skills.
