Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust's Cancer Centre in Guildford is recruiting a Band 6 Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) Allied Health Professional. You will work in an outpatient environment delivering complex cancer treatment and contributing to rapid diagnosis and research initiatives for over 8,000 patients annually.

The role requires registered nursing status, post-qualification cancer nursing experience, and SACT-specific competencies; excellent communication and teamwork are essential

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Part 1 or Part 12 or equivalent.
• First Degree or working towards this.
• Evidence of post-qualification in cancer nursing or equivalent SACT experience.
• Care of the Patient Requiring SACT Course.
• Teaching Qualification ENB 998, Mentorship Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Be registered, accountable and autonomous and act in the best interests of patients at all times.
• Take responsibility for patient assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate leadership, participate in learning and development, and uphold NMC Code of Conduct.
