Job summary

Whitehall Resources Ltd is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join a UK client on a 1-year fixed-term contract. Hybrid role from a Leicestershire office with a mix of on-site and remote work, and hands‑on system administration, implementation, and ongoing support.

You will join an established Basis team, collaborating with functional consultants, architects, security teams, and stakeholders to ensure SAP systems are reliable, secure, and performing optimally.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SAP Basis and technical administration across ERP.
• Ability to install, configure, and maintain SAP systems on‑premises or in cloud environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in SAP HANA database administration, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP integration (Fiori, Gateway, third‑party systems) and transport management tools (Active Control preferred).
• Understanding of Agile delivery methods, using Kanban boards in Jira, and collaborative ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP implementation projects from design through go‑live, while providing BAU support.
• Act as a technical SME, solving complex system issues in a fast‑paced environment.
