Job summary

Supreme Search Specialists is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for our Doncaster practice. The role offers a salary up to £33,000 depending on experience and hours, with either full-time or part-time contracts and a 1 in 4 Saturday rota.

The successful candidate will develop clinical skills in a modern, supportive environment where nurses contribute to patient care. The practice thrives with a capable team and excellent facilities; applicants can be newly qualified or experienced

Qualifications

• RCVS registration or eligibility is required.
• Experience across inpatient care, theatre and nurse consultations.
• Commitment to high clinical standards and patient welfare.
• Willingness to work a 1 in 4 Saturday rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients.
• Support surgical and theatre procedures.
• Conduct nurse consultations and clinics.
• Undertake Schedule 3 procedures.
• Monitor and care for patients throughout treatment.
• Assist Veterinary Surgeons with medical and surgical cases.
• Contribute to daily clinical running of the practice.
• Maintain high standards of patient welfare and nursing care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Develop Student Veterinary Nurses where appropriate.
• Lead by example within the nursing team.
• Utilise nursing skills across all areas of the practice.
