Job summary

Leeds Birstall Vets for Pets Hospital in Leeds is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our busy 24-hour hospital on a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover starting in November 2026. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week across four days.

You will work alongside experienced clinicians, gaining exposure to advanced nursing skills including anaesthesia, wound care and referral-level cases, with ongoing CPD and development in a supportive, nurse-led environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered RVN with current credentials.
• Experience in a high-volume, busy hospital setting preferred.
• Willingness to develop advanced nursing skills and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to inpatients and assist with procedures.
• Support anaesthesia and surgical care in a nurse-led hospital.
• Collaborate with vets and other nurses, contributing to patient welfare.
