Job summary

Carter Jonas invites ambitious placement students to join our Rural team in Northampton for a 12‑month sandwich placement. You will work alongside experienced rural surveyors to support management, valuations and transactions for farms, estates and land across the UK.

The role offers early responsibility, client exposure and opportunities to develop technical and commercial skills within a supportive team, with APC pathway support and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ambitious placement students with interest in rural surveying.
• Ability to build client relationships and work with teams.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support management of rural estates and property portfolios.
• Assist with valuation advice and valuations of rural property interests.
• Contribute to sale, letting and acquisition of farms, estates and land.
• Provide support on consultancy matters affecting rural businesses.

Education

RICS-accredited degree (advantageous)
