A leading support services provider for military operations in the UK is seeking a Rural Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for managing countryside maintenance across rural and built estates, leading a skilled team, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in rural management, strong leadership skills, and a full UK driving licence. This role offers a competitive salary and outstanding benefits.

Base Locations:Lulworth Ranges (BH20 5QF) & Wyke Regis Training Camp (DT4 9HH)
Travel: Regional role - own transport essential
Landmarc have an exciting opportunity for a Rural Maintenance Manager to join our team, managing the delivery of countryside maintenance across our rural and built estates. Using both in-house teams and contracted services, your work will cover a broad range of activity including forestry and arboriculture, fencing, maintaining roads, tracks and public rights of way, and preserving scheduled monuments. You'll be doing this within the context of one of the most highly designated landscapes in the UK.
The Rural Maintenance Manager will cover tasks to support the Training Estate contract at a number of sites in Dorset, Somerset and East Devon. Based at Lulworth Ranges and Wyke Regis, you'll work on a diverse range of heathland, woodland, grassland and coastal habitats and be part of an operational team that facilitates essential military training.
This is a rewarding role for a proactive manager who enjoys a diverse and unpredictable workday. You will be managing a skilled, experienced and motivated team and you'll contribute to conservation and sustainability initiatives while delivering a high standard of estate care that supports the vital military defence mission. The Rural Maintenance Managers are key people within our team in the South West England Region.
