Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway are seeking a Podiatrist to join our community-based team serving the rural Annandale and Eskdale area. The role offers flexible and digital/remote options where appropriate and a structured Flying Start programme for new graduates.

You will work across preventive, palliative and corrective podiatry care, with support from a proactive multidisciplinary network and opportunities for professional development. The post ends on 30 May 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience working in podiatry or newly qualified welcomed.
• Ability to work in a community setting and travel between bases.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver a broad range of podiatric interventions.
• Work across preventive, palliative and corrective care with patient-centred approaches.
• Provide ongoing supervision to Podiatry Healthcare Support Workers.
