Job summary

The Ivy Collection is opening two distinctive new dining experiences in Newcastle, bringing The Ivy Collection and The Ivy Asia to the heart of the city. We’re seeking enthusiastic people to join founding teams and bring two unforgettable restaurants to life from day one.

We are hiring a friendly and energetic Runner to support waitstaff, maintain clean and welcoming spaces, and help set up new tables for service, with a minimum 20 hours per week and ample opportunities for development and staff

Qualifications

• Assisting waiters in taking and relaying orders
• Maintaining tables, chairs and counters
• Preparing new tables for service and keeping mise en place

Responsibilities

• Support the service team to deliver friendly and professional service
• Help ensure smooth restaurant operation during shifts

Key elements of your role as Runner includesassisting waiters in taking and relaying orders to the kitchen, keeping tables, chairs and counters clean, preparing new tables ready for service and maintaining mise en plus stations.
