A contemporary refurbishment is planned for The George, a beautiful pub in the city centre of Leeds. The pub is situated just off the main central circuits, but in the immediate vicinity of student accommodation and Leeds General Infirmary, which can provide fantastic footfall and trade. The pub will attract tourists, students, commuters, and nearby residents.

The site is under a 15-minute walk from the train station, and the main residents in the local area fall into the top three types of Central Pulse, Student Scene, and Learners and Earners, with over 7000 of these types of adults within a 10-minute walk from The George.
