Job summary

Burberry is hiring an RTR Accountant in Leeds to join the Burberry Business Services finance team. You will own core accounting activities, drive timely financial reporting and support internal controls across the Record to Report process.

The role involves month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow analysis and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver accurate insights. A part-qualified accountant actively studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA is preferred, with strong Excel and SAP/BPC

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations and supporting audits.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, provisions and reclassifications.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Support cash flow forecasting and reporting by analysing movements and communicating insights.
• Prepare Record to Report information for internal and external reporting requirements.
• Maintain compliance with Group policies and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
