A leading aerospace company in Farnborough is looking for an entry-level RS Wheel & Brake Tech 1. You will assist in repairing and certifying aircraft wheel and brake assemblies, requiring basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools. The position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, offering valuable on-the-job training. This full-time role supports a specialized team in aligning with compliance and safety regulations.
RS Wheel&Brake Tech 1 (FAR) in GAC Farnborough
We are a regional service center supporting customers on multiple lines of Gulfstream aircraft for ongoing maintenance and support. We are a global company where R&D through delivery to customers is done in the United States, but we provide continued customer support around the globe.
Previous experience working on aircraft components preferable. The position will be working in our back shop on landing gear and brakes. It is an entry level position for someone who is very hands on and can interpret manuals.
Monday through Friday 700-315
Other GCSE required. Must possess basic mechanical skills, including the use of hand tools. Proficient operation of all tools/equipment in the dept incl glass bead and carboblast machines. Must possess basic understanding of shop math. Experience in one of the following or other related experience: Sheetmetal, hydraulic, Wheel, Brake overhaul.
Under moderate supervision, repair and certify aircraft wheel and brake assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements.
