Angard Staffing is seeking flexible Mail Sorters for Royal Mail in Atherstone. You will unload mail and parcels, sort by postcode, and move items through the warehouse to meet tight deadlines. No prior experience needed as training is provided.

Shifts include morning, afternoon, and night hours with competitive hourly pay. This temporary Christmas-season role may conclude when the site closes for the holidays.

) Mail & Parcel Sorters with Royal Mail. Whether you're looking to gain experience or take on a new challenge, this is your chance to be part of a team that helps keep the country moving.

What You'll Be Doing

• Unloading mail and parcels
• Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
• Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines - some teams sort over a million items in a single shift!

What We're Looking For

You don't need to have worked for us before (we love new people!), but experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced setting
• Able to lift mail bags up to 11kg, parcels up to 30kg, and push trolleys/yorks up to 250kg
• Comfortable standing and walking for long periods
• Reliable and flexible with good attention to detail
• No previous experience needed - training provided
• Comfortable switching between tasks

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for Mail Sorter roles within our Mail Centres and Parcel Hubs. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met. Rates may be subject to change during busy periods. Angbar Staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance. Typical shift patterns and pay:

• Morning shift - 0600 - 1400 - £15.14 per hour
• Afternoon shift - 1400 - 2200 - £15.14 per hour
• Night Shift - 2200 - 0600 - £16.44 per hour

This role is for the Christmas period. Assignments are temporary and will automatically end when the site closes for the Christmas season. The anticipated closing date is 18th December 2026, although this may be subject to change.
