Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting Royal Mail delivery drivers in the United Kingdom. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels along your round, sometimes on foot and other times by van.

You must hold a full, manual UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and be physically active, walking up to 20,000 steps daily and lifting up to 16 kg. Shifts vary and a driving assessment is required on start.

What We’re Looking For

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points – you’ll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.

Your Role

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring letters and parcels are delivered come rain or shine. You’ll drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service and ensuring every item reaches its destination safely.

You’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.

Important to Know

While large parts of the role involves walking, driving a Royal Mail delivery van is also a key requirement. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day. Please note: you’ll be required to pass a driving assessment when you start.
