Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting for Royal Mail to fill flexible (temporary) postal delivery driver roles across communities in the UK. You will drive a Royal Mail van, walk daily, and deliver letters and parcels with care and efficiency, adapting to shifting schedules and weather conditions.

Applicants should hold a full UK manual driving licence (up to 6 points), be physically fit to walk long distances and lift up to 16 kg, and be flexible to work varied shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points – you’ll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.

Your Role

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring letters and parcels are delivered come rain or shine. You’ll drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service and ensuring every item reaches its destination safely.

You’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.

Important to Know

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for roles within our Delivery Offices. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
