Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail for flexible (temporary) postal collections drivers in the Banbury area. You’ll be the friendly face in your local community, collecting mail and parcels on foot or by vehicle, ensuring timely and secure handling.

Ideal candidates hold a full manual driving licence with up to 6 points, be physically fit to walk long distances and lift up to 16 kg, and adapt to varying shifts.

Your Role

As a Collections Driver, you’ll be the friendly face of Royal Mail in your local area. You’ll collect mail and parcels from designated locations, ensuring timely and secure handling of all items. Whether on foot or behind the wheel, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the country connected.

Important to Know

While some roles involve driving, this role also requires you to be on foot, collecting letters and parcels directly within the community. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day.

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for roles within our Delivery Offices. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.

Shift - Shift Description = Pay Rate

• Day Shift - Starts and finishes between 05:31 and 19:59 = £13.69 per hour
• Dawn Shift - Starts between 02:01 and 04:00 = £14.61 per hour
• Early Shift (05:00 Start) - Starts between 04:01 and 05:00 = £14.61 per hour
• Early Shift (05:30 Start) - Starts between 05:01 and 05:30 = £14.61 per hour
• Evening Shift - Finishes between 20:00 and 21:39 = £14.38 per hour
• Late Shift - Finishes between 21:40 and 01:59 = £15.14 per hour
• Night Shift - Three hours across 23:00 and 05:00 = £16.44 per hour
