Research is at the heart of our values & part of everyday practice in the NHS. It gives hope to patients & helps improve current treatment, medicines & develop new treatments which enables hope to happen. As part of the NIHR CRDC (Primary Care) there are 5 practices in the Poole locality and 1 practice in the Purbeck locality. We have had an exponential increase of clinical trials secured within our CRDC over the last 8 months. It is essential that the RRN must work under their own sphere of competency & be able to work autonomously across all collaboration sites with recognising the need to reach out for help when required.
