Qualifications

• Significant experience in quality control activities within a mechanical component environment.
• Previous experience of using measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Verifies mechanical, machining and weld materials based upon company drawings.
• Inspects fabricated and machined components to engineering drawings.
• Performs mechanical inspections and assists with the company's Quality vendor management.
• Completes all necessary documentation.

Skills

Knowledge of lean six sigma in manufacturing

Proficient in Microsoft applications - Access and Excel

Good communication skills

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Full driving licence

Team player

Education

ISO or equivalent auditor

Secondary education level

Tools

Measuring equipment (vernier callipers, micrometres)
