Job summary

A logistics company in Telford is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to coordinate vehicle fleet operations and maintain service levels. The ideal candidate will possess transport planning experience and a strong knowledge of the UK road network, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This permanent position offers a salary of up to £30,000 with a Monday to Friday work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily routes for drivers.
• Monitor live operations and resolve any issues or delays.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ensure legal and company compliance, including WTD and driver hours.
• Maintain accurate records and update systems in real time.
