About the role

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Rough Sleeping Prevention and Commissioning Manager to lead the development and delivery of high‑impact services for people experiencing rough sleeping. This is a pivotal role within our Homelessness Prevention & Assessment Service where you will shape and commission services that make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Commission evidence‑based, trauma‑informed services that support people off the streets and into sustainable accommodation.
  • Work closely with internal teams, voluntary sector partners, health services and people with lived experience.
  • Translate policy into practice by thinking strategically and ensuring services meet equity, inclusion and lived experience commitments.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of homelessness, rough sleeping and the wider housing and support landscape.
  • Experience in commissioning and procurement within a local authority setting.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
