Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking a Rough Sleeping Assessment and Prevention Officer to work on the frontline with people facing homelessness. You will conduct in-depth homelessness assessments, develop personalised housing plans, and collaborate with partners to deliver sustainable housing solutions.

Based in the community, you will engage with landlords and support services, apply housing legislation, and contribute to the city’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.

The role

Are you driven to make a real difference in the lives of people facing homelessness? Join our Housing Solutions team as a Rough Sleeping Assessment and Prevention Officer In the role of Rough Sleeping Assessment and Prevention you will work on the frontline to support some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community. From conducting in-depth homelessness assessments to developing personalised housing plans, you'll play a vital role in preventing and relieving homelessness. Working closely with partners, landlords, and support services to deliver sustainable housing solutions This is a dynamic and rewarding role as the Rough Sleeping Assessment and Prevention Officer, this role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments. You'll be based in the heart of the community, often working alongside partner agencies to reach those most in need As a Rough Sleeping Officer, you will need a strong understanding of housing legislation and a passion for safeguarding and advocacy, you'll help shape brighter futures and contribute directly to the city's Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.
