Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Rough Sleeper Outreach Worker to assist rough sleepers in Northampton. This role involves providing support and interventions to help individuals access housing and related services. Candidates must have experience in housing support, a minimum of 5 GCSEs, and a strong understanding of homelessness issues. Immediate availability is required for this 3.5-month contract, which may be extended.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent).
• Experience of working or volunteering in a housing or care related post.
• Good understanding of housing and homelessness issues.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a flexible, assertive street outreach approach.
• Encouraging individuals to access support for their needs.
• Collaborating to safeguard vulnerable rough sleepers.
• Helping the cohort develop independent living skills.
