A leading NHS trust in Milton Keynes is looking for dynamic Rotational Specialist Physiotherapists to join their team. With two available posts, one full-time and one part-time, this role involves working in various clinical settings. Ideal candidates will have a Physiotherapy degree, HCPC registration, and experience at Band 5 or 6 level. Our Therapy Department is currently looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join our cohort of rotational band 6's.
There are 2 posts available.
1st post is a full time (37.5 hrs) Fixed term contract for 9 months within the MSK outpatient rotation.
2nd post is part time 22.5 hours (3 days per week, working days can be flexible and discussed) rotation not yet confirmed.
The rotations are 8 months in length and cover the following areas:
Working as part of a dedicated and skilled Therapy Services team you will be providing a holistic therapy approach to patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.

Previous experience as a Band 6 or 5 Physiotherapist is essential. An ability to demonstrate a proactive flexible approach and to be able to work well on own initiative is essential. Demonstrable skills in service development are desirable, along with a keen interest in educating fellow healthcare colleagues.

The post holder will participate in the respiratory on call rota (including weekends and bank holidays as required). The post holder will also work within a 7 day service whilst on rotation with the Acute Assessment & Frailty Team, and cover weekend shifts whilst on rotation on the Acute Stroke Unit.
A programme of leadership development sessions is available as well as the opportunity to be involved in the education of the MDT, appraisal mentor and service development projects.
It is essential you have current HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
