Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is based in Clinic 10 at King’s Mill Hospital and offers the chance to work within a dynamic and busy environment. Referrals into the service come from A&E, fracture clinics, Trauma & Orthopaedics wards, and primary care, so applicants must have previous MSK experience and be confident working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, effective physiotherapy interventions for inpatients and outpatients to maximise functional ability and health outcomes.
  • Assess, treat, and advise patients with acute or chronic conditions, including those with complex presentations, using evidence-based practice.
  • Rotate every 9 months across:
    • MSK Outpatients
    • Orthopaedic Inpatients
    • Rheumatology Outpatients
    • Paediatric MSK Outpatients
  • Deliver training and education to physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medical, nursing, and other professional staff/students as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and support the provision of the highest quality patient care.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and expertise within a supportive team, while making a real difference to patient care.
