Job summary

Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust is seeking a Rotational Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy team at Darent Valley Hospital. The role offers diverse rotations across ICU, stroke, acute medicine/respiratory, orthopaedics, MSK outpatients and a seven-day Integrated Discharge service.

You will be HCPC registered, CSP member, with a BSc in Physiotherapy and demonstrated clinical placements. The post includes teaching and direct patient care in an acute setting.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration or pending for new graduates
• Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
• Evidence of clinical placements in core areas

Responsibilities

• Participate in the four-monthly rotation across the Trust in ward and department settings
• Provide high-standard physiotherapy services in orthopaedics, neurology, medicine (elderly care), surgery, ITU, out-patients, hydrotherapy and respiratory care; be part of the integrated discharge team
• Contribute to teaching programmes and develop own knowledge and skills
• Be an effective team member within each speciality and support senior physiotherapists
• Promote physiotherapy within the inter-professional team and maintain good communication with medical/nursing staff
• Deliver care across a 7-day service (08:00–20:00) while on rotation
