A leading healthcare provider in Margate is looking for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join their rotation program across various acute hospital sites. The role includes assessing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Job Summary

Our rotation programme spans the three main acute hospital sites in our trust: William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent & Canterbury Hospital in Canterbury, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate. All rotational staff may be expected to rotate to any of the hospital sites. Rotations are broad and diverse covering critical care, surgery, trauma, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients, hand therapy, stroke, neurorehabilitation, acute medicine, frailty and vascular surgery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients, providing holistic physiotherapy intervention as an autonomous practitioner within scope of practice.
  • Develop physiotherapy treatment plans, demonstrating clear clinical reasoning and goal setting.
  • Undertake respiratory on‑call competency training within initial six months in post.
  • Work clinically curious and collaborate within multidisciplinary acute hospital environment to provide excellent interventions.
  • Support clinical supervision of Therapy Assistants and students where appropriate.
  • Be an active member of the wider therapy and AHP team and advocate for the profession where appropriate.

Essential Qualifications
