Overview

Physiotherapist – Rotational – Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Responsibilities
  • Assess, treat and educate patients referred to the Physiotherapy service under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Provide support across a seven‑day service delivery schedule where appropriate.
  • Work flexibly across a range of specialities in accordance with workload priorities, including community rotations when required.
  • Participate in respiratory on‑call and weekend service following completion of a comprehensive training and supervision package.
  • Attend a face‑to‑face interview if shortlisted.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate clinical knowledge relevant to core rotations: Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Respiratory Care, Medicine, Critical Care and Frailty.
  • Show flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
  • Exhibit excellent time‑management and communication skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Professional Development
  • Supported by Senior Physiotherapists in each clinical area.
  • Attendance at Trust Preceptorship Programme and monthly training sessions for Rotational Physiotherapists.
  • Peer support from rotational colleagues.
Additional Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS disclosure; the cost will be deducted from the first salary payment.
