We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our busy Therapy Department. You will be part of the Band 5 rotations at The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with opportunities to work at Ellesmere Port Hospital and in the Community setting. Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner to perform therapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations.
  • Communicate empathetically with patients with complex clinical presentations, explaining their clinical diagnosis and treatment programmes; ensure that patients understand and answer queries related to their diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Use clinical reasoning to provide a diagnosis and develop, deliver and adapt individualised treatment programmes.
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of treatment to measure progress and outcomes and ensure effectiveness of interventions and service delivery.
Qualifications and requirements
  • HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience through a broad range of placements across clinical areas as a student or at Band 5 within the NHS.
  • Good time management and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
