Job summary

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is offering an opportunity for preregistration pharmacy technicians nearing qualification or technicians beginning their hospital pharmacy career. The role includes rotation through clinical ward service, dispensary and aseptic services, with a strong focus on developing clinical and technical skills.

You will need current registration with the GPhC (or be due to register soon) and demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development and delivering

Responsibilities

• Rotate through ward clinical & technical services, dispensary and aseptic services.
• Dispense drugs for in-patients, A&E and clinical trials prescriptions.
• Support the pharmacy team with high-quality pharmaceutical services.

To carry out dispensing of drugs (including controlled drugs), medicateddressings, enteral feeds, in-patients and A&E prescriptions and clinical trialprescriptions.
