Job summary

The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, part of Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, invites applications for Rotational Pharmacists. You will gain experience across main clinical areas and work with a team of pharmacists and medicine management technicians to support ward-based patient care.

The role includes aseptic preparation of PN, chemotherapy and radiopharmaceuticals, with encouragement to pursue a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma.

Qualifications

• Ward-based clinical care experience preferred.
• Experience with aseptically prepared medicines is desirable.
• Postgraduate Diploma encouraged and funded by the trust.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in Clinical Pharmacy Services at ward and department level, collaborating with Consultants and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide technical support in the preparation of aseptically prepared medicines (PN, Chemotherapy, Radiopharmaceuticals).
• Study for and complete the Postgraduate Clinical Diploma.
