Job summary

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a friendly, supportive MDT. You will provide autonomous clinical assessment and intervention for patients with complex needs, and contribute to service development with clinical supervision and CPD funding.

Rotations include Care of the Elderly, Critical Care & Surgery, Acute Medicine, Orthopaedics, ED and Frailty, plus community rotations, offering broad experience and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with current UK licence.
• Ability to lead OT provision for complex cases within a busy MDT.
• Experience in delivering person-centred assessments and plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced OT assessment and treatment for complex patients.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate inpatient OT services on the ward.
• Deputise for the team lead OT and support junior staff.
• Collaborate with community teams for safe discharge.
