Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Department in Uxbridge, United Kingdom. This Band 6 to Band 7 progression opportunity offers a structured senior rotation with ward-based duties and departmental responsibilities.

The post holder will ensure medicines legislation compliance, provide safe medication, and lead within the clinical specialty on rotation, supporting the Pharmacist Team Leader and contributing to medicines

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with medicines legislation.
• Provide medication to patients in a safe and legal manner.
• Work independently but discuss issues with peers and senior colleagues.
• Be the lead pharmacist within the clinical speciality on rotation.
• Participate in the delivery of the clinical pharmacy service and medicines management initiatives.
• Assist in planning and development of these services and in provision of financial reports to the Divisions.
• Provide professional and managerial support to the Pharmacist Team Leader.
• Be competent in and participate in any aspect of the Pharmacy service.
