Job summary

Siemens Energy in Lincoln, UK, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to assemble, strip, and maintain small gas turbine components, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to meet exacting engineering specifications.

You will operate in a fast-paced factory, record build data accurately, follow 5S standards and safety procedures, and collaborate with supporting departments to identify improvements and maintain high quality throughout production.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in a mechanical fitting role with rotating equipment preferred.
• Completion of Level 3 apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and precision measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, strip, and maintain small gas turbine components according to specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipment with high accuracy.
• Safely operate lifting equipment and record build data accurately.
