A caring family in Greater London is looking for two engaging rota nannies to care for their three young children. The role involves working on a flexible rota schedule, with live-in options available. Ideal candidates will have experience with both sole and shared care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to organize and plan age-appropriate activities. The family values a happy atmosphere and seeks nannies who can support the children's learning and development.
Wonderful young, caring family looking for 2 rota nannies tohelp care for their soon to be three young children. Family lives in Notting
Hill and regularly goes to their house in the country – Oxfordshire, at
weekends. The rota schedule is flexible at the moment, but likely to be 2 weeks
on / off rather than 1 week. Nanny can live in when on rota, but if she lives
near by she can also live out and work a 12 hr rota. She would need to stay
with the family of course when they are at their country home, or away travelling.
3 children aged 4, and newborn baby (November 2025).
The maternity nurse will help mum care for new baby for the first 4 to 6
months.
We are looking for 2 special, kind, engaging rota nannies
with excellent references and longevity in previous roles. Someone who has worked in Notting Hill
area previously, has worked as a rota nanny, and has experience packing and
travelling with young children could fit well. The nannies must be happy with sole and shared
care and have experience with both.
Nanny should be engaging and fun but also able to set
boundaries without being overly harsh.
Be able to read the room and step back if the family is
spending time together.
Be a team player, be supportive to family members and other
staff, with a collaborative attitude.
Early next year mum is likely to take the children to
Australia for a couple of months. They would love for one or both nannies to be
with them there, if possible.
The family is quite informal and relaxed. They appreciate a
happy, loving atmosphere in their home and want the nannies who join to be
similarly minded.
With mum being at home, and a maternity nurse for the baby the 2 rota
nannies will definitely not be overworked but the family is keen to ensure they
have full childcare cover, as dad travels a lot with work. Nannies are expected to pitch and offer to help where needed. If you put the family first, they will do the same for you : )
Nanny should have plenty of experience and initiative and
able to plan interesting age appropriate activities for the children (girl and
boy). If there is spare time you can do planning and organising – there’s
always something which can be done. They are looking for nannies who are happy to muck in and are not precious.
Seeking a nanny who the children love to be
with and who makes the children happy.
Excellent English and able to support the children with their learning and
development in all areas, in a fun way.
Able to communicate patiently and gently with the children.
Knowledgeable about nutrition and early years curriculum.
Salary will depend on nannies skills, experience and
qualifications, but around £65,000 + / - for
