Job description
Overview

A lovely position for an experienced Nanny looking for a Rota position. Our client, currently residing in Mayfair, is looking for a Nanny for her two boys – one of whom is autistic.

This rota position will be working 7 days on / 7 days off and starting at the end of April.

All general Nanny duties will apply, along with the following :

  • Being very hands on with the children
  • Travelling with the family (COVID permitting)
  • Preparing the boys for school in the morning - school runs will be done by mum
  • Relieving the autistic child’s speech & language therapist from "structured breaks" during their home-schooling program
  • Making sure the boys' areas are kept neat and tidy – no housekeeping duties apply
  • Keeping mum informed of the boys' schedules
  • Liaising with other household staff
  • Preparing weekly menus – although there will be very limited cooking involved as the family have a chef

Due to one of the boys having autism, the right Nanny must be extremely understanding & sensitive to his condition and needs. SEN experience / qualifications OR Norland Graduate would be extremely preferred.

Key qualities
  • Easy-going, get along well with others, be a team player - "muck in attitude"
  • Be flexible
  • Bubbly / smiley – this is very important for the family
  • Energetic
  • Good values / manners
  • Playful with children
  • Compassionate
  • Sensitive
  • Very organised

Please note you must be available to attend a week’s trial before the end of April.
