Bright Horizons Northcote Road is looking for a Room Leader to inspire and supervise a team caring for under-2s, ensuring engaging, development‑focused activities and a safe, nurturing environment in a busy nursery setting.
You will work closely with families, colleagues and outside professionals to support each child’s milestones, uphold EYFS standards, and reinforce safeguarding and welfare across all daily routines and learning experiences.
Salary – Starting from £31,512 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for a Room Leader to join our Northcote Road Nursery, situated close to Clapham Junction station and Clapham South tube. This role is for the Under 2's room.
Our Bright Horizons Northcote Road has four child home bases each designed specifically for babies, toddlers and pre-school aged children. There is also a large, secure external play area and a small growing garden down in the basement in the Toddler Room. An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.
As a Room Leader, you will lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver exception care and education, to help all children within the room to develop and meet their individual milestones. You will promote and ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding, and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet each child’s needs.
